The network stated that she was a much-loved part of the BBC Children’s family and a hugely talented actress, singer, and dancer.
Alice Webb, the Director at BBC Children expressed her sorrow on the demise of the young actress.
After her death, her former co-stars took their social media to tribute her. Emily Atack, her co-star on the CBBC series Almost Never stated on her Instagram that she was “shocked and sad” to hear the news of her death.

Mya-Lecia Naylor Bio & Career
Mya-Lecia Naylor was born on 6 November 2002 to English parents in London. She was just two years old when she first appeared on television in British sitcom Absolutely Fabulous in 2004.
In 2011, she played the lead role as Tati on the television series, Tati’s Hotel. Similarly, she appeared in two episodes of psychological thriller The Last Weekend, and in the film, Cloud Atlas as Miro. Naylor portrayed the character of Fran in the sitcom Millie Inbetween from 2014 to 2018. Most recently, she appeared as Mya on the television sitcom Almost Never in 2019.
